Voice trill warm up

Been trying some new warm ideas, I had always done bubbling as it is really effective.

Bubbling creates a stretch for the vocal folds. It’s said that this exercise wakens the head and folds. Gets them warmed up for a performance

Also known as lip trills its important to let the front of the face relax, it’s a good idea to have two fingers at either side of the cheek to stop the cheeks from puffing out.

I only tried the fingers on the cheeks recently and its really working a treat. It is almost ensuring that the air isn’t hiding anywhere and coming straight out the way it should

The best way I can instruct this without visuals is the following.

1/ Put the index fingers at side of cheeks.

2/take enough breath up to your chest (not high) and slowly let the air come out.

3/ensure the lips are together so when the air comes out it rattles them in a brrrrrrrrrrrr sound.

4/ while doing this work your way up and down your range from the bottom to the top
