I never thought thinking of a question in a music degree would be so difficult. I am clear on what i want to research but placing a question is really hard.
I have been kinda clear for the last year on what i want to do and it definitely the research towards what music does for people and that euphoric state you can fall into.
Does it have healing properties, why does it make people cry? what memories does it bring back? Why does it make people happy? so many questions but what is the purpose?
Well so far and because of personal reason with my brother Kevin it gives me great satisfaction to help others with music in some way. Music in Hospitals have taken me on board and given me the opportunity to perform for people in hospitals and care homes. This is really interesting because it leads me right into the question of,
Does Live performances of music enhance the quality of life for people in care.
so far this is where i am at with my dissertation planning.
There is a few thing i really need to look at for my proposal and that is (notes from earlier)
Looking at structure on the question and some context on it as a backdrop.
How do I investigate the question?
