Night two we are at the Brickyard in Carlise for the Rockmstic festival. I didn't get in till late from the night before a gig and was up at 6 with baby boy Frank so I was knackered.

Upon arrival at the venue I wascreallybinpressed with the size and it was good to see all the usually faces that attend these events. The bass cabinets were already there do it was hassle free to load in it or so I thought.

Each band got a couple of minutes line check and what I found is that my amp kept on cutting out . I didn't have time to sort this do I went to the engineer and told him what the challenge was and asked him to put me through the PA monitors for my onstage sound. This didn't effect anything out stage as I was DI to the desk.

Overall the sound was fine, I do t think anyone e even noticed. A great wee gig but again as soon as I was finished I was off up the road to get ready for an early rise with the baby boy. I really enjoy the gigs but I also understand that I'm not digesting the moment and enjoying the night due to family commitments. It's s shame but family wins everything.

If I can wangle it and I get the chance to play this festival again then il make sure I stay over and enjoy the night. Highlights where catching fond of the band Bigfoots set. They sound amazing.
