Studio Vocal Set Back

One thing i have really learned this year for studio work is plan for interruptions.

I nearly put all my eggs in one basket and booked for the mixing session to take place as i was so confident that i would get things done.

Tuesday morning I was up at 7, washed and ready to go, jumped in the car, got the coffee at Costa and then the text comes through. Mazza couldn't make it due to family commitments..... noooooo!

Mazza was to be one of the major components to getting the harmonies tight, never mind we can deal with tis, rebooked for Thursday morning.

I still had my trusty friend Mr Jordan Hope coming in to do his vocals. Jordan had been with me the session before laying down the  keys which was a massive success. Glad to say, Jordan turned up and knew his parts and laid them down without any real challenges.

I had a few timing issue but I made sure that we used the studio time wisely as I had no other time this week in the big room. I got Jordan to record three strong takes of each line so that when it came to editing i had a choice...

MR JORDAN HOPE DOES IT AGAIN, well done my friend.
