Hawick Gig Review - Karma Rockets

Well its safe to say the the people in Hawick welcomed the Karma Rockets with Open arms. The gig was agreed as a favour for Our keyboardist Jordan. Arrived at 8 set up ready to for 9 and then Boom1 this place took off. Dancing all night. We didnt get a chance to really try any new material as they were constantly scream for more so the best option to keep it going was to bash out the songs.

The only concern I had was due to the shape of the room. It was a long corridor shaped bar which means that the sound can get a little loud  and as the band plays on the adrenaline get higher which can mean the volume does as well. It was great to see the band be their noprmal professional slefs and spot this straight away and control the sound and still put on the show.

Im sure the band would agree that a free bar for them always goes down well. AAs it was Jordans home town we suprissed him by informing everyone that he would be singing one of the last songs  which was 500 miles and he did nothing short of perform... The best bit was when he ventured into the crowd and proceeded to get everyone involved... the echos of JOrdans mum shout "thats my boy!!!!" went down well.
