DO WHAT YOU LOVE

never has there been a better saying than "Do What You Love". This week i have lived a breathed this. As well as balance everything in life this week iv been working as hard as ever on my songs. Im pleased with the huge leap forward I've made.

Since September i had been working on the Wings single which was amazing but glad to say that this is over now, well at least the recording is. Now ive been working on my songs and especially the 10 ive choosen for the next King Lot album.

Challenges have been in the guitar solos, i really need to get some chops and after ive got this album out the way i will really be looking at this closer. Just now is all been about the writing, using sensory approach, locking in harmonies, finishing on the beat, ensuring plot are strong, using toggle pattern.

To learn all this i have found i have had to read more, research more and dig deep to get recorded what im trying to do. There comes a point where it has to stop as its all going to change as soon as I get the boys to record their parts on it.

My main achievments have been in the the redoing the demos in a differernt keys, redoing all the bass all the guitars and vocals. I have made a few faster which is really getting my juices going.

Big leap forward for
All I want - New harmonies, new start new ending

Hearts on Fire - I went back to the original meaning of this song, i called it sky is onfire but getting to the true meaning i rewrote some of it to discuss the topic clearly, faster, bigger chorus.

Goodbye - the original topic of this was too close to the bone for me just now so i will approach this later, so i turned it into a gril leaves boy lost love story in the thiord person, again going back to my original idea.

Bridge across your heartache - still not finiahed with this one but made the harmonies stronger sounding but will revisit this next week.
