Day 6 London Underworld

The last day of tour took us to London Underworld. We had to get up pretty early for the flight and with a late night before so my eyes were stinging. When we were going through the airport we were all pulled up for the equipment that we had in our backpacks. This didn't happen on the way going there. we were given advice and that was too take all stuff out of the back pack so they can see it clearly. This is a great time saver. All band people take note.

The venue was superb, a strange shape but they had a great looking system with dressing rooms at the back. We had a great sound check so i was looking forward to going back on. When we approached the stage the monitors were all different. The guitar was screaming. I was trying to catch the monitor guys eye, however he was on his phone. I was raging! i finally caught his eye and signaled to him to cut the guitars out, but he took that as if i need more. When we finished the second song big mike sorted it for me and it it made such a difference. The rest of the gig was great.

Jizzy told us wait till you hear the London crowd they will blow your mind,he said they would sing all they would sing all the songs.  It was a great show, the crowd did go crazy so it was great way to end the tour. Through the whole tour I was a little nervous not of performing in front of people but purely of a want of not letting Jizzy down. Im glad to say that my hard work paid off. There were times when it was hard but i truly believe that if you map a song out and have you sheets handy your quids in. Jizzy said something to us that stuck in my mind. He told us that he doesnt waste time rehearsing. He told us that he does his home work, he learns the songs and him and his friends come in and the job was done.An example of this was when we played Highway to Hell for the last song, we all knew it really well that it went down amazing.

The Jizzy Pearl Tour was excellent and a really great thing for me personally. Im glad it was over so i could get home to see my family but thank you Mr Pearl.
