We Left Newcastle around 10 am and headed towards Wales. We had been there only 2 weeks before with Dan Reed Network so we were aware of how thing were set up. The last time we were there i don't remember the sound being that great, it had a smelly carpet but bags of character.

Upon arrival there was a huge bonfire going and the wind was blowing it right towards us! hold on a minute pal! im not going on stage smelling like a barbecue here! it turned out they wasn't expect us till 4 so our arrive at 2 wasn't timed well. We got into the venue quickly set up and left to go check into the hotel.

we arrived back at the venue after checking in and got to sound check, the sound wasn't too bad but when show time approached for The King Lot thats when i noticed the sound not being the best. Since the gig someone has posted a video of the King Lots performance for the song "Lets Get Together". This song is predominantly based on a love song and the carry on that sometimes can go on with two people. I always remember when i was younger that people wouldn't be themselves, so this song is dedicated to those people, oi! just be yourself.

The main Guitar Riff for Lets Get was inspired by The LoveHate song "Miss America" so its amazing to be be playing both songs on the same night. the Riff which is now part of the Main Bass riff is a structured dat dat dat sound. It just so happens that someone took a video recording of that song as well.
Miss America is a great song and my favourite on the Wasted in America Album. It was great to hear Jizzy later in the tour say that it was his favourite also, he told me peoples faces just lit up at the end when we both came in with the harmony at the end. its really cool.
The meet and greet after the show was out of this world. This was the night when we sold most merch and everyone was after autographs. I think people generally like us but after seeing us come back on and play with Jizzy we got instant respect. There was a few nights that people said this to me so in my book thats cool.

We got the chance to meet lots of great people and Wales was a really cool place for the gig, minus the that smelly carpet.
